SAP Business Analyst. Contract type: 12 month contract with strong potential of becoming permanent. Location: East side of Galway City. Team: The successful applicant will be joining a team of 7. This role is a replacement role following an internal promotion. You’ll be working on the maintenance of 3 SAP systems. ERP experience is not essential, ideally applicants will have Medical Device or Manufacturing systems experience. Projects will involve Customer Archiving and SAP updating. This company is still actively recruiting during the Covid-19 crisis, applicants can be video interviewed and set up to work from home initially. Job Responsibilities: Consulting with business stake-holders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs. Overseeing projects from design to implementation, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced/university education. Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications. May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower level professionals. Skills and experience needed: The ideal applicant will already have experience of working with a Manufacturing Execution System (SAP ME preferable but other MES experience is acceptable. Experienced in delivering or managing projects. Applicants need a level 8 University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
