Due to continued project growth, a top Irish construction company is looking to add Mechanical Engineers. Great opportunity to join an experienced team working on multimillion euro projects. Learn and hone your skills, shaping and advancing your career. Key Responsibilities: Checking plans, piping drawings and quantities for accuracy. Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client. Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Liaising with clients and their representatives including attending regular meetings. Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. Overseeing quality control. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Any other functions deemed relevant. Key Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Degree. Minimum 5 years relevant experience. Piping experience desirable. Clear ability to use various packages such as Microsoft project, excel, word, AutoCAD, Solid works, etc. Proven track record on mechanical construction or engineering sites, in particular large industrial piping projects.
