Technical/ Validation Specialist. Our global Pharmaceutical client is seeking a Technical/ Validation Specialist enthusiastic for a fixed term contract for their growing site in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Validation / Technical Specialist who is looking to further their career within the Pharma industry. Job responsibilities: Ensure highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards are adhered to. Propose / recommend technical approaches in line with global standards. Benchmark and remain current with development of new technologies in the Biopharmaceutical processing field of expertise and deploy process improvements. The successful candidate will have: Hon Degree or Masters in a Scientific or Engineering discipline. Preference for Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience of application of Lean principals. Minimum 4 years’ experience in a regulate manufacturing environment. Proven knowledge in validation and other pharma operations (manufacturing, technology, engineering, quality, analytical. Demonstrated delivery of a section of a process / technical project. Understanding of temperature mapping activities, requalification requirements of equipment, periodic reviews of equipment. Understanding of the requirements around sanitization and sterilization processes. Some automation (DltaV knowledge is desirable but not essential. Demonstrated process qualification and validation, SME background with pharma or Biopharma industry. Capability to deliver results RFT, in a FDA/HPRA Regulated production environment.
