Description

A well-known Life & Pensions company in Dublin is looking for a Finance Project Manager for an Integration Migration project. This has been approved for a 6 month contract. The role is specifically focused on delivery of Finance & Actuarial integration within the life and pensions business. Core Responsibilities: Working closely with the work stream operational and executive sponsors to define and document the objectives, scope, deliverables and outcomes from life finance and actuarial integration; Supporting the actuarial and finance project leads to create and develop out integrated plans for integration delivery; Assessing and challenging plans, capturing a full view of the inherent risks and dependencies and communicating programme level risks and dependencies to the integration management office; Managing change control and version controls of master plans; Capturing key decision points and managing decision log updates and communication to the integration management office; Development of resource plans in conjunction with project leads; Completing all regular reporting to the integration management office including status reports, steering committee reports and wider group reporting requirements; Escalation of key issues and emerging risks to the operational and executive sponsors; Skills and Experience: Qualified Accountant. Experience in Life & Pensions, Insurance or Financial Services. Strong organisational skills; Ability to build relationships at all levels within an organisation; Ability to develop and execute plans on time and within budget to a high quality; Risk management experience; Change management delivery within business operations; Project delivery experience as a senior project manager within financial services sector; Experience working on/delivering transformation programmes;.
