Front Desk Receptionist opportunity 4* Hotel in Galway City. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to delivering an excellent customer service and guest experience. Minimum 1 years previous 4* hotel reception experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity to take on the next challenge as a hotel receptionist within our luxury property, with the opportunity for future career progression. Note; Currently this role is live but due to Covid-19 Restrictions on movement and business, the recruitment schedule may be amended, please forward your CV as normal. The main duties will include: • Welcome guests on arrival in warm and friendly manner. • The allocation of rooms to customers having viewed all relevant guest requests. • Check in/out guests effectively using internal system. • Ensure that additional requirements for guests are offered, i.e. dinner reservation, porter etc. • Balancing of guest bills/cash at end of each shift. The ideal candidate: • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role in another 4* Hotel is necessary. • Excellent communication skills. • Working knowledge of relevant hotel systems such as Hotsoft is desirable. • Ability to work under pressure and multitask. • Ability to solve problems and identify solutions efficiently.
