This is a great new opportunity for minimum six month period for a very experienced senior executive with an in-depth knowledge of 3rd Party Logistics and warehousing. You will be: _ Providing leadership & effective mgt. of resources, budget & operations. Provides strategic & tactical direction to achieve business goals. Working to develop gross margin, & driving continuous improvements to maximize operational efficiencies. Directing commercial, warehousing, transportation, value add & client services consistently across numerous transportation hubs in a region. Develop goals & objectives in line with commercial & operations strategies. You will have: - Extensive industry knowledge in "3PL" ideally internationally or nationally. Highly motivated goal setting, self-starter, positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic & critical attention to detail. Outstanding financial skills including prior budget responsibilities. Excellent leadership skills to lead, coach & mentor all levels. Proven team building skills; can motivate & direct others in total collaboration. Excellent customer relationship skills, network extensively within the sector to develop & strengthen market share. Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills, int/external at all levels. Excellent planning & organisational skills; to direct large complex networks. Strong analytical & conceptual thinking; ideally Six Sigma & Lean Methodologies. Flexible & responsive to lead others in a changing environment. Understand the supply chain business - forecasting, supply mgt., inventory & order mgt. & distribution. Ability to be flexible, listen, given insight open to new ideas & processes. Degree/Master in logistics, business etc. Extensive experience in a 3PL mgt. ideally internationally. Experience managing transport & warehousing services for frozen/chilled. Steeped in 3PL logistics processes & its impact on entire supply chain. Expertise best practice processes, systems, & logistics tools - ERP & WMS. Experience with supporting multiple competing organisations & happy to travel within UK & Ireland.
