Description

Sales Manager - West Dublin. In this role you will manage a team of Sales Consultants to increase the share of segment and market coverage in the NI and ROI, in both the service and new equipment market. Establish and reinforce key relationships with key account clients. Provide supervision and mentoring/coaching on specific management tasks combined with team/individual development objectives. Work with the General manager and marketing team in UK to analyse the market/data and define the strategy to effectively help drive the regions' business objectives in terms of bookings plan and margin achievement. Promote actively the key company differentiators to the market, improving the chance of success selling the value. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking monthly meetings with General Manager to review personal and team performance. Responsible for the team results and booking process. Gathering month end reports and forecast data. Driving the team forecasts achievement and support the assurance that monthly targets/commitments are met. Develop the strategic sales plan that reflect the business strategy, to advance market share. Engaging in 1-2-1 meetings with team members, recording minutes and agreeing remedial actions on performance issues where necessary. Delivering and collating records for any mandatory training when requested. Attending customer meetings with consultants as and when required. Advising Regional Sales Consultants of margin levels to achieve best QSP’s to secure projects and margin targets. Undertaking team training and development, including new starter programs. Providing leadership and demonstrating responsibility / accountability. Support Sales Consultants with strategic negotiation and closing deals, and where appropriate negotiate directly with Key Account Senior Management. Assist in planning sales strategy: align tactical account plans with overall corporate strategy. Ensure a good collaboration between sales and operations teams. Achieve Regional Booking Plan for new equipment in terms of units, their value and margin. Improve average booked margin year on year by target level. Achieve regional territory visit activity in New Business Development as per agreed plan. Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures. To be fully conversant and compliant with all related company procedures including but not limited to Ethics, Corporate Governance and Environmental Health and Safety procedures. To fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, etc. Enhance brand awareness in the Irish market. Interested applicants should have: Ideally a Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree. Proven track record of increasing sustainable sales figures. Demonstrated level of project management skills. Previous experience working in a multinational environment desirable but not essential. Previous experience in Sales Management is required, and experience from the engineering or construction industries or related supply chain is desirable. Contractual awareness with the intellectual capacity to learn within prescribed training period. Computer Literacy including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
