Description

A great new role in a very dynamic fast moving & changing organisation for an experienced procurement professional to deliver a strategy with a particular focus on IT & Digital suppliers & projects. You will : - Manage & own RFIs, RFQs & RFPs from start to finish. Supplier mgt., evaluation & support in contractual disputes. Prepare template contracts. Review & negotiate supplier contracts to achieve IT Procurement savings. Highlight & monitor compliance ensure any breaches are resolved. Review supplier spend to determine strategy for each spend category. Liaise with internal stakeholder to understand operational requirement. Investigate opportunities to streamline existing services. Advise on OPEX versus CAPEX opportunities. Source & meet suppliers for negotiations. Build & maintain effective relationships with suppliers. Protect IT assets & interests in agreements (KPIs, SLAs, Liability clauses etc.) Ensure deals are successfully rolled out across the business & track savings. Advise & show budget holder savings. Daily use of the PO system - accept/reject. Liaise with IT GDPR/Security teams & attend meetings accordingly. Qualification & experience. Ideally Degree & or CIPS/IIPMM qualification. 8 years' experience working in procurement - negotiating & creating contract T&C's. Prepared RFX; ITTs; run multiple; created contracts, KPIs, managed and tracked supplier performance & savings. Lead supplier negotiations to achieve savings & process improvement. Understand IT procurement (licencing; support & maintenance agreements etc.) Created RFX tenders, evaluations & contracts. Ensured process improvement & added value to a business. Great attention to detail, self-motivated with ability to work alone. Managed large number of suppliers & can have great working relationships with them & internal stakeholders. Assertive & effective communicator at all levels to ensure compliance. Excellent analytical & computer (Excel/MS Office) skills & using POs. Use accounts info to understand spend & to run supplier reports. Can take direction, & work as part of a team; Worked to tight deadlines; track progress & savings identified.
