Opportunity to join privately owned US based company. It manufactures high frequency magnetics for power conversion in consumer, automotive, industrial and communications markets. Work with the senior mechanical & electronic design engineers in design of power transformers. Preparation of detailed drawings using SolidWorks and their associated material lists. Liaise with colleagues within and outside the design department in ensuring that designs produced are current, incorporate all updated solutions and conform to the required standards. Liaise with various sub suppliers / sub-contractors to ensure component fabrication and components quality is in accordance with the expectations and requirements. Relevant degree with 2/3 years experience in Mechanical design, ideally for a similar product range. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in SolidWorks.
