Training / L&D Specialist. In partnership with its client Kenny-Whelan & Associates is currently seeking a Training / L&D Specialist for the Tipperary area. Profile of role: The successful candidate will work with Area Leads to design and develop Core Training Programs for working groups across the site. Implement comprehensive Training Programs to ensure excellent capabilities and competence across roles, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Primary responsibilities include: Support the onboarding and development of new hires into roles across the site. Work with the people managers to ensure training/learning needs assessments are conducted regularly for working groups. Support the design and build appropriate curriculum for working groups. Demonstrate strong Continuous Improvement mindset; a desire to challenge status quo, manage change and continuously improve. Demonstrate Project Management skills to ensure flawless execution of key L&D projects identified as part of Site and Learning & Development Strategy. Ensures that training completion records are entered onto LMS. Prioritise and encourage badge scanning for same purpose. Coach new people through the training and qualification process for getting access to badge scan. Provide support to the Learning & Development Lead and Training Specialists as required for report generation, update of curriculum, generation of SOP knowledge transfer assessments (KTAs. Problem solve LMS issues highlighted by colleagues across the site, finding root cause (locally or with Global team) and implement solutions. Manage any LMS related deviations and track and communicate any LMS downtime to the site. Escalate as required. Coordinate business process for offsite training and further education including management of request forms, register of participants at the training course, payment of courses, update of training budget and update of the Learning Management System LMS when training is complete. Work with L&D team to move forward with Digital learning. Qualifications: Fluent in English, written and verbal. Diploma or higher preferred; ideally in a related discipline (Science, Engineering, Business. Experience as a Learning Professional and LMS management preferred. Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or a similar operating environment; ideally in a manufacturing, EHS, preferably GMP setting. Knowledge of cGMP and GDP. Knowledge of and experience in applying Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies preferred. Skills: Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, to interface effectively with all levels of the organisation and with external customers. Planning: Ability to manage and multitask day to day activities with some continuous improvement projects. Strong Leadership skills, in particular, Collaboration and Teaming, Drive for Results, Sense of Urgency, Big Picture Thinking, Adaptability. Essential: Strong Project Management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
