Post-Doctoral Researcher in Teaching and Learning. (3 years fixed-term contract. Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) is seeking a. postdoctoral researcher in Learning and Teaching to help. execute projects related to teaching and learning and data. analytics. The researcher will conduct quantitative research in support of funded research projects and LYIT institute priorities related to data analytics and reports. The researcher will apply the knowledge gained to help improve teaching, learning and student success in higher education. The researcher will also contribute to the development of methods to analyse and evaluate student engagement and student success. The successful candidate will collaborate with staff, students and external partners. The areas of research include: 1) teaching and learning2) student success and engagement and 3) data analytics.  Candidates are expected to demonstrate a broad understanding and wide application of higher education, teaching and learning pedagogies, data analytics, including learning analytics, as well as general knowledge of the Irish Higher Education policy landscape.
