About the role:  This is a full-time role and the position is based in Waterford. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead work on their own initiative and manage several projects at the same time to tight deadlines. You will liaise with both clients and internal project managers to ensure the smooth execution of the design and marketing elements of a project. You will proof and sign off work for print, as well as provide creative and strategic input to campaigns from concept to creation. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, good time management and multitasking skills to ensure that tasks get completed on time. Key duties will include: • Meet/liaise with clients to determine client’s key requirements and create/develop a design to match their needs. • Manage workload which will include both small and large jobs and prioritise as required on a daily basis. • Producing printed goods, hand cutting, scoring, folding and laminating. • Work to agreed client timescale and with colleagues to manage client relationships. • Report to department manager on ongoing projects and client requirements. • Create promotional and marketing material internally and for clients. • Produce a broad range of content for inbound marketing; including blogs, guides, videos and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare, etc.); • Support Marketing Manager in organising marketing and associated customer focused events. • Update company website via CMS. Monitor website traffic and report on trends. • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the Design & Marketing Department and be willing to help out with other areas of the business as required. • Get creative and be open to new ideas and experiment with campaigns. Experience and Qualifications: • The ideal candidate is an all-round designer/marketer with digital and traditional skillsets together with the capability to be creative and also work to brand guidelines when required. • Fluent in English – both written and verbal. • Relevant third level qualification. • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential. • Previous experience working in a print environment is an advantage. • Experience in digital marketing – Proficiency in marketing automation software, SEO, blogging and social media management tools in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads. • Ability to be a team-player with a co-operative, flexible and good-humoured attitude. • Excellent communication and highly organised with excellent time management.
