I am currently recruiting for an Enterprise Architect for a very large multinational in Dublin. This environment is operated by a company that are global leaders and are a multi-billion dollar company in their own right and are looking for a Solutions Architect to join their team and help define strategy across their software development lifecycle. This role is a very key hire for my client, it is crucial due to the level of consistent collaboration across all teams.The role would suit someone is 100% comfortable with using their experience of building long lasting relationships across divisions and being the bridge to connect these teams also. The role involves working in conjunction with the overall Solution architectural team to enable the development team to derive a complete solution through robust and scalable design. Exact responsibilities of the role: You will work in conjunction with internal stakeholders/ clients and assist them in their product based activities and also evangelise new product enhancements etc. You will work alongside product owners and business analysts to make sure new client requirements are catered for within the overall high level architectural strategy. Working closely with the client and product teams to ensure any technical issues are resolved. What you will need to apply for this role: You will need a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working as a solutions architect. Having a technical mindset and have demonstrable experience in solutions delivery and internal stakeholder engagement. You will leverage your previous hands-on technical experience to be able to suggest critical technical changes and to also push back on any solutions that are not feasible and could be detrimental to the overall architecture of the project. You will have experience. From a specific technical perspective you will need to extensive knowledge and experience with the following: Java ecosystem and general OOP design and development. Middleware technologies such as Weblogic, Websphere, Enterprise Service Bus etc. Solid experience with large scale enterprise software. Be able to articulate highly technical changes in layman’s terms to non-technical members. Requirement gathering in software environments where large scale integration is key. Have worked on RDBMS with tuning experience is desirable. Other areas of note are as follows: Flexibility to travel extensively to the UK. This is a massive prerequisite for this role, if this doesn't work for you then this role is not the right opportunities at this time.
