My client, a leading multinational company based in the South West of Limerick, who design and manufacture innovative plastic packaging, are seeking an experienced Operations / Production Manager to join their team. Working within a state-of-the-art facility, the position will require you to lead and manage the production planning, ensuring all departmental leads are aware of production priorities and clients receive their fulfilment within the agreed timeframe. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will responsible for ensuring the plant runs at optimal efficiency, by using standard management operational metrics, KPI's, OEE, OTIF, scrap. You will then lead the team in challenging route cause of analysis, including the 7 Steps problem solving with focus on the Top 3 and be instrumental on driving change. You will also work closely with the HR Department ensuring minimum staffing levels are in place and identifying any training needs. Requirements. Minimum of 3 years' experience as Production Supervisor / Production Manager in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP. People management skills and experience.
