Planning Specialist. This is a great FMCG company who are keen to grow their Supply Chain team with a good Supply Chain Planner/ Demand Planning Specialist. In this role you will be: Developing demand forecasts for global customers. Looking at historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, forecast data, assisting in developing statistical forecast models, & evaluating forecast results. Assisting with KPI's (sales report, stock report) & ensuring relevant actions. Identifying & addressing issues with internal & external stakeholders. Developing great relationships & insights with other internal & external stakeholders. Managing materials, including process for obsolete materials, NPI, stock, days on hand, warehouse capacity etc. Transferring stock between global customers. Working with Sales, Marketing & Finance teams to acquire info for demand forecasts. Help with inventory strategies relating to existing items, NPI & product phase-outs. Monitoring, measuring & reporting supplier performance, in terms of delivery & cost competitiveness. Include update of corrective / preventative action where required. Reducing costs & business risks. You will be : - A great communicator, with 5 years' exp. in supply chain, with experience in demand planning. Holding the IIPMM, IPICS, APICS &/or a degree qualification in a related discipline. Proficient in ERP, Stock mgt. & MS Office. Skilled in planning , project mgt., analysis, & problem-solving. Self-driven & fast-moving, energetic & resilient. Efficient & organised, results & action-oriented.
