Description

We are seeking a Stores / Spare Parts Assistant for our client, suppliers of equipment and services to the food services industry. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and IT skills and the ability to manage their own time and to work to deadlines. Duties of the Role: Booking in of parts, labelling and assigning to bin locations. Preparing, packaging and booking out of parts for despatch with courier to a fleet of service vans nationwide. Assist with the implementation of new Stock labelling system. Updating the stock ERP system with the movement of goods. Maintenance and processing of all paperwork on site including delivery dockets and stores issues. Preparing quotations for customers. Following up on warranty issues with clients and suppliers. Performing stocktake and reconciling to stock reports from the ERP system. Monitoring minimum stock levels and preparing reorder reports for management. Ordering and issuing purchase orders to suppliers. Checking of invoices against orders and goods received. Providing general administration support to store department. Ad hoc duties as required. Skills/Experience Required for the Role: Engineer-related qualification or good knowledge of catering equipment spare parts an advantage. Ideally working knowledge of ERP systems with good IT skills. Be detail-oriented with the desire to achieve excellence through your own initiative. Strong organisational skills and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment. Good career prospects with this growing and expanding business.
