Export Shipping Supervisor required for our client based in Shannon. This is a permanent position. Contact Joe Robbins for a confidential conversation. THE ROLE: * The successful candidate will be responsible for all Export Shipping activities including. * Preparation of all export related documentation. * Understanding of shipping documentation required for Russia, CIS and West Africa. * Familiarity with EUR 1, LoC and other export documentation. * Understands the importance of prompt communication and follow up with customer. * Working with Production to ensure customer requirements are met on a timely basis. * Authorisation of Invoices and all other primary documentation and reports. * Export refunds, Inward processing, VIES and Intrastat files. * Liaise with Government Department and Shipping Companies. REQUIREMENTS: * Candidates should hold a 3rd level qualification in a Business / Export discipline and have at least 5 years' experience in a related industry. * In addition, candidate must be familiar with computerized systems both for export tracking purposes, candidates must also be competent in the use of P.C. applications. * Being able to work on one's own initiative and attention to detail is also required. * Good communications and excellent interpersonal skills in conjunction with problem solving ability are an essential requirement in this role.
