Category Sourcing Expert - professional services. Sourcing is responsible for the development & execution of sourcing strategies to & r elationship s to achieve best total value. Category management strategies & execution, supplier relationship management, negotiation, risk management & supply base performance management. You will be a sourcing professsional , with the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience to design & execute strategies in a global environment supporting the managed services category . Key Accountabilities: Reporting to a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the Managed Services Category . Leading global cross functional teams in the development, communication & approval of sourcing strategies. Responsible for ensuring that category strategy 's result in & generate roadmaps of savings & value streams, & where appropriate, innovation opportunities; Continual monitoring of internal customers & supply markets for changes that may impact the sourcing strategy ; Year-on-year financial accountability for assigned category 's with respect to price movement; Responsible for leading global cross functional teams through the supplier selection process & for the approval of selected supplier s by stakeholders. The team-based supplier selection process is inclusive of identification of potential supplier s, RFx development & execution, proposal evaluation against business requirements & total cost of ownership, & supplier selection recommendation. Upon stakeholder approval, successful negotiation & finalisation of all contractual documentation; Responsible for negotiation planning & contracting with supplier s, ensuring that agreements reflect the company's needs globally. Responsible for executing supplier relationship management activities for key assigned supplier s within the assigned category 's, with oversight regarding supplier relationship management. Person Specification: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. Strong negotiation skills & cost management practices. Excellent written & verbal communication & problem solving skills. Ability to work in a fast paced matrixed global environment. Project Management in complex multi-project & multi-geography environment. Lean Six Sigma desirable but not essential.
