Temporary Visitor Guide. These are temporary seasonal roles based in: 1. Ballycroy National Park. 2. Connemara National Park. 3. Glenveagh National Park. 4. Killarney National Park (Muckross House and Killarney House. 5. Mid-West Region (covering Burren National Park, Dromore Wood and Coole Park Nature Reserves)  Staff will be required to work 39 hours per week, rostered five days over seven, which may include weekends and bank holidays. Depending on the location of the vacancy; the contract dates and durations will differ so some interviews may be held sooner than others. The weekly salary of a Guide (before tax) is as follows (1st September 2019 rates): Personal Pension Contribution (PPC. €459.64, €489.70, €497.36, €512.26, €534.25, €556.20, €578.15, €594.14, €615.29, €636.43, €651.30, €672.23, €693.04, €725.47, €750.98, €762.67. Non Personal Pension Contribution (Non PPC. €437.63, €466.21, €473.45, €494.60, €508.53, €529.41, €550.25, €571.13, €586.10, €606.39, €626.45, €640.34, €660.13, €690.94, €715.19, €726.34. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Appointees will be chosen by competitive interview.  A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
