We are currently recruiting for experienced Conference, Banqueting and Events Sales Coordinator for a busy 4* Hotel in Dublin. Main Duties: Taking bookings for meetings, weddings and events with specific emphasis on maximising revenue at every opportunity; Handling all guest queries in relation to meetings and events bookings; Communicating any special requests to specific departments; Handling the full cycle of booking from initial enquiry to billing; Contract negotiation with corporate clients; Targeted sales calls to corporate bookers; Conducting site inspections with perspective clients; Attending wedding fairs and trade shows as required. The successful candidate will: Have 2 years` experience in a similar role in a 4* hotel; Experience using a PMS. HotSoft would be a distinct advantage; Possess strong communication and organisational skills; Display excellent attention to detail; Have the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time: Have an excellent telephone manner; Be sales-focused. Previous experience in a sales role would be an advantage. Be a team player. Be fluent in both verbal and written English. This is essential.
