Project Quantity Surveyor, JO3501. Donegal based role for a Donegal Company with travel to sites. Sites based mainly in Connacht and Leinster provinces. Permanent / Full time. Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 DOE. This is an exciting time to join our Client and to be a part of a team of highly skilled professionals. The role will be both demanding and rewarding. Responsibilities: €Support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery; achieving successful outcomes for our clients; capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as preferred service provider; €Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved; €Measure, package, procure and manage Subcontractor accounts, to ensure competitive rates and prices; €When required, prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects; €Ensure timely submission of all contractual notices and supporting data including robust payment application; €Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope; €Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary; €Prepare or assess applications, Internal Valuations/Cost Value, reconciliations and subcontract liability reports; €Ensure any variances between planned budget expenditure and incurred costs are identified, reported and appropriate action taken to minimise costs and liabilities; €Prepare and provide input to weekly reports: value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow and budget; €Prepare and agree applications for payment or the assessment & preparation of payment. certificates; €Assist with Risk and Value Management to optimise solution; €Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks; €Prepare supply chain enquiries, negotiate, administer and finalise / close out supply chain contracts. What we are looking for: €Good command of written and spoken English, €Willingness to work flexible hours required for the job; €Must be willing to travel to any assigned project sites throughout Northern Ireland, Ireland; €Must have a full clean driving license with access to your own car; €Must be eligible to work in Ireland (or region of project); €A minimum of a level 7-degree qualification (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or other relevant discipline; €A minimum of 3 years ‘recent Quantity Surveying experience within the building/construction environment OR a minimum of 5 years’ recent Quantity Surveying experience within the building/construction environment AND Demonstrate experience in Project management, Budget management and Construction procurement; €Demonstrate experience working on medium to large scale projects; €Familiar with in the use of digital measurement and/or estimating software; €Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
