A Senior QA Material Supplier Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based client. This is an opportunity to join a select team with our major Limerick based biopharmaceutical client. THE ROLE: * To assure that raw materials used in manufacturing are of the appropriate quality to facilitate the production of drug products meeting or exceeding expectations. * Work with a global supplier quality team to continually evaluate supplier performance and respond accordingly. * Facilitate the review and approval of supplier changes by coordinating activities with supplier and internal cross functional support teams to develop and implement appropriate strategies to qualify and support changes for raw materials and drug components. * Co-ordinates accurate and timely qualification of raw materials including review of protocols and subsequent reports. * Supporting of supplier corrective action reports, approved suppliers lists, regulatory and internal audits and cGMP compliance documents. * Management and tracking of continuous improvement projects. REQUIREMENTS: * Requires BS/BA in Scientific discipline or related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience. * Understanding of a biologics manufacturing operations is preferred. * Previous experience in Supplier Quality.
