Catering Assistant for Hospital, Full-time. Excel Recruitment are looking for a Catering Assistant with an immediate start. The right candidate will work alongside the Head Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen. It requires pace, energy, resilience and high standards. You'll need to prioritise quickly and be flexible enough to effortlessly move between tasks such as running a busy kitchen, preparing food, performing requests from your work colleagues and front of house. Requirements of the Catering Assistant job: Experience working within the catering/food industry but not essential. Have passion and enthusiasm for fresh food. Has certs of manual handling and HACCP (can be provided. Be driven by excellence and attention to detail with a flair for presentation. Responsibilities of the Catering Assistant: Ensuring exceptional presentation of food items at all times. Willing to learn new skills and progress within the team. Clean and replenish service equipment. Other duties assigned by the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
