My client within the Investment banking space currently have a requirement for a senior accountant within their internal finance department. Responsibilities. -Assist production of the annual audited financial statements for the Group. -Ensuring accounts completed in accordance with IFRS Financial Reporting standards. -Compilation of monthly and quarterly management accounts. -Maintain a control operating environment. -Oversight of Accounts Receivable and Accrued Income. -Oversight of group tax policy transfer recharges. -Ensure internal control processe. -Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and financial systems. -Liaison with internal and external audit and tax teams. -Assist with constant cost reduction processes in the organization. Applicant must possess: -Qualified accountant with 3 years post qualification exp in financial services. -Understanding of Business analysis/Project Management and process improvement. -Strong foundation in MS Excel/PowerPoint. -Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP as applicable to Fund Administration Companies.
