Maintenance Craftsperson (pharmaceuticals) - Dublin. This role will be offered as a contract for a period of up to two years (with a strong likelihood of extension) and will require the successful candidate to operate a three-shift cycle which will include a night shift. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will carry out a range of duties including: • Maintenance and servicing of high-speed filling and packaging equipment. • Support the set-up and change-overs of filling and packaging equipment. • Support and work proactively with all members of the Production Business Units in maximising performance. • Focus on delivering continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve performance. • To operate any computer-based equipment as may be necessary to fulfil job role. • Maintain all company documentation to the highest GMP standard and ensure all company documentation is completed - correct work orders, logbooks, GMP forms, training records, plant data books etc. • To assist in developing and maintaining an appropriate spare parts stock. • Complete planned maintenance work orders and enter all relevant information in PEMAC. Experience & Qualifications Required: • A relevant mechanical trade qualification. Candidates with a hybrid mechanical/electrical qualification will also be considered. • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-speed filling and packaging equipment, in a controlled and regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/food industry, and will be familiar with GMP practices in maintenance. Furthermore, you should possess the following competencies/skills: • Cross-functional/team-working. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Self-starter, take initiative, work with minimal guidance and drive progress. • Excellent communication skills.
