A well-known Irish provider of meat products are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Naas, Co. Kildare. Great benefits including pension contribution and healthcare . Excellent salary with 30% Shift bonus and additional bonus for Overtime. As Maintenance Technician you will... Be responsible for executing, monitoring and recording breakdowns. You’ll deliver high quality maintenance to service production. You’ll carry out planned maintenance ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and safety. Responsibilities of the job. Support Production Team in achieving targets. Closely monitor line and machine performance and intervene on line as soon as any deterioration in performance occurs. As part of the technical Maintenance team, work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications. Update the maintenance management system (CMMS. Troubleshooting using PLC Programs. Using all resources such as manuals, service contacts etc. to aid in breakdown recovery. Recording of all damage to dept. equipment and reporting to department, engineering supervisor on same. Adheres to site policy directives on environmental issues. Requirements for the job. Electrical or Mechanical Qualification or Trade qualification. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role in regulated manufacturing environment. Excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality, Health and Safety. Experienced in fault finding and problem solving. Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation and PLC control systems. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading food manufacturing companies in Ireland.
