Compensation & Benefits Specialist. Sanderson HR recruitment is partnering with its market leading international client to recruit a Compensation and Benefits Specialist on a perm basis. Role Summary. This position is integral to our client's compensation and benefits strategy and will contribute directly to overall HR / talent attraction and retention initiatives. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, the Compensation and Benefits Specialist will deploy specialist expertise to ensure that C B offerings are competitive. The Specialist will also provide advice as needed in the field of compensation and benefits management to management and HR staff. Essential Duties: Support and maintain the pay and job grade system ensuring alignment with C B strategy. Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate job grading structures as it pertains to current staff and recruitment efforts. Continually test the job structure against existing compensation and benefits offered and highlight outliers. Provide advice on how to best address anomalies. Assessing current offering against benchmarked data. Research, analyse and drive changes when appropriate. Create and/or edit compensation and benefits HR policies and procedures. Guide the business at the point of new job creation to appropriately size and value the compensation and benefits offering. Maintain and prepare job descriptions, classification systems, job levels and families. Analyse compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to ensure a competitive compensation plan. Education & Experience: Relevant Degree Qualified. Previous expertise in establishment job grading systems working in collaboration with teams. Commercial mind set with ability to align reward policy with the business objectives. Excellent project management skills, presentation skills, a high degree of analytical skills and experience with Excel including pivot tables would be highly recommended.
