The Deli Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the food and beverage service operation in the store. Requirements. Minimum of 2 years fresh food deli management experience. Must have experience in ordering and managing waste. Be up to date in HACCP and food safety training. Self motivated and a passion for food service. Has experience in managing ten and more staff. Main Duties. Manage the daily activities of employees to improve sales performance. Manage product storage and rotation. Assist in preparation of inventory and sales budgets. Control staff costs and prepare rosters. Assist in interviewing, hiring and training staff. Respond to any queries or complaints. Ensure all follow company policies and procedures. Ensure products are properly labelled. Oversee and ensure that facilities are maintained neat, clean and safe at all times. Other duties as required.
