Job title: Compliance Advisor (Consumer Protection. Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience. Location: Dublin 2. Duration: Permanent. Our client is a leading Financial Services provider in Ireland and they are looking for a Compliance Advisor to work within their Consumer Protection function. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with tasks assigned to the Consumer Protection area. Responsibilities: Providing advice and assistance on Compliance issues, especially regarding interpretation of relevant legislation, regulations and standards. Investigating possible Consumer Protection breaches of compliance. Co-ordinating/delivering Group wide education and training. Advising the business of consumer protection considerations associated with new and existing products and distribution channels. Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience working in financial services in a consumer protection role or conduct risk role. 3rd level degree in Business/Finance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Up to date Knowledge of Consumer Protection legislation and regulation i.e. CPC, CCMA and SME. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Relevant professional qualification/working towards, desirable.
