Part of Grafton Group Plc, The Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our IT Training Team as a result of increased training demand from the business and commencement of significant projects to roll out new systems later this year. What does the job involve? On a day to day basis, you will be preparing for and delivering IT training courses. This will include the design and development of new training modules and associated materials, e.g. manuals, handouts, exercises etc. What will I be training? You will be delivering a wide scope of training, which will include Point of Sale Systems, CRM and Business Reporting in addition to training on Office 365 Applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive and Skype. How will I be training? Training is typically delivered in classroom style in small groups (maximum 6 people) or 1 to 1 as needed. We like to embrace innovation here at The Chadwicks Group and are open to and welcome new and innovative training techniques. Who will I be training? You will be training staff of varying levels of IT ability from all departments and levels of The Chadwicks Group. From administrative staff in our HQ to Counter Staff in our building materials branches and everyone in between. Where will the training be delivered? Training will predominantly be delivered from our HQ Location at Ashfield in West Dublin. There will however be a need to travel to branches in our group around Ireland, so flexibility is needed in this regard. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about training and whose profile reflects the following; - Has previous training experience, delivering to small groups along with an aptitude for imparting knowledge to mixed IT ability groups. - Possesses excellent interpersonal skills. - Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Is a creative thinker with a strong problem-solving ability. - Is a proactive team player. - Preferably possesses a formal training related qualification. - Has good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Office 365. - Ideally has achieved a 3rd level qualification.
