We currently have a requirement for junior Architectural Technician/ Engineer/QS roles to work on various projects based in Co. Cork. This appointment will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to further develop their technical skills along with excellent opportunities for career advancement. Our client prides themselves as being recognised as a professional services company specialising in Project Management, Commercial Management, Property Assessment, Asset Management and Consulting across the Construction, Infrastructure and Property Sectors. ¿ ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Setting out of the works. Ensure that the drawings, details and specifications are fully adhered to on site. Supervise groundworks crews. Liaising with Main contractors, attending program, coordination, and design meetings. Coordination of information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors, so that they clearly understand what is required. Identify missing information, raising RFIs and Technical Submittals. Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrences in your site diary and record sheets. Quality management. Liaise with the project QS and senior engineer regarding commercial aspects of the project. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel. Conduct your work in a safe manner. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE. A third level qualification in Engineering/Setting out. Graduate to 2 years’ experience in setting out or site engineer. Reasonably proficient in the use of AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint etc. Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Essential that candidate has fluent English. Be eligible to work legally in Ireland. Report writing. Draughting - CAD. Desktop Assessment.
