Description

Compliance Manager. Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Compliance in the execution of the Compliance Program for two regulated entities. Structure the Annual Compliance Monitoring Program & assist the compliance associate in performing the tests & drafting the relevant Board Reports of two regulated entities. Establish & maintain an understanding of the DMS regulated European entities authorizations & regulatory requirements. Liaise with Group Compliance & Legal teams as required in relation to group wide projects. Lead/Compliance Lead projects when required. Lead annual MLRO on sites for testing & reporting on Administrator AML Procedures. Assist the regulated entities in ensuring reporting requirements are identified & met. Develop & maintain a Control Framework including an operational procedure governing Fund marketing. Provide training, mentoring & management of a compliance associate to assist in meeting their job expectations, developing in their role & actively agreeing additional areas of learning for them. Actively question methods & processes with the key to making the team more effective & efficient. Assist in meeting both internal (within the business) & external (Regulator) day to day queries. Escalate all material issues as & when they arise to the Head of Compliance. Assist in the management of the Breaches & Escalation procedure to ensure that all matters are followed up, concluded & appropriately logged & reported. Assist with developing/implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in compliance within the financial sector with proven path of advancement; Degree or professional qualificaton; Extensive experience of UCITS & AIFMD regulations; Knowledge of the Irish & European regulatory landscape & a clear ability to interpret & understand the implications of new regulations; Outstanding time management, organizational skills, oral & written communication skills, critical thinking & attention to detail is required. Strong working knowledge Fund documentation & regulatory requirements. Strong MS Office Skills; information management software experience is necessary at a senior level & Nexus Lexus experience is preferred.
