My client, a leading Engineering company is looking to recruit a part-time Marketing and Bid Assistant to join their busy Commercial Team in Galway. The role may eventually become a full time role. This is an exciting and challenging role where creativity will be a key attribute. The successful candidate will report to, and work closely with, some key members of the broader Commercial Team on a host of large assignments spanning the three divisions of the company. Key Responsibilities: Managing updates of project and staff details on the company database for bids. Collating and preparing text and narrative elements of public and private sector tenders. Designing layouts and key visuals for tender documents, presentations and client meetings. Create and update in-house marketing materials / promotional literature. Go on site visits to completed projects for the collation of project information and imagery. Managing, creating and updating the content of the Company Website and Intranet. Managing and executing communication plans via social media (Twitter, LinkedIn) or press. Creating digital analytics and other data insights to support and drive strategic marketing and business plans. Organising and coordinating events such as Awards events, student fairs or industry evenings. Key Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a relevant qualification in Marketing or Communications. Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry would be a plus. Strong digital marketing skills. Experience in digital analytics and SEO. Proven experience in creating a marketing campaign. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator skills required. Experience in Events co-ordination. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
