On behalf of my client, a global clinical company we are working with them on the recruitment of a Quality & Content Specialist. You will report to the Chief Quality Officer (CQO), the successful candidate for this role will focus on reviewing online training modules, client web portals, and other online/printed material from an editorial point of view to ensure adherence with company Content Standards. An eye for detail and analytical thinking are essential. Responsibilities, Activities and Key Deliverables. The Quality & Content Specialist will carry out the following project functions:  Perform editorial reviews of training scripts, portals, online manuals, and any other documents/marketing material/websites against company content standards.  Ensure all products are configured as per client project specification prior to release.  Provide feedback to project manager/project team on QC review progress, or any issues causing delay.  Provide oversight of file version control on a project, ensuring this is tightly maintained.  Familiarize yourself with company production process, and ensure all required steps in their Production SOP shave been followed prior to QC approval.  Work closely with the development team and project manager to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables are released on time.  Participate in post-project “lessons learned” meetings and provide feedback to development team and Chief Quality Officer on any recurring editorial/functional/process issues.  Identify areas for improvement (process/product/content standards) to reduce quality issues on an ongoing basis.  Assist Chief Quality Officer in establishing/documenting QC review processes for each product, and in developing/maintaining QC checklists for each.  Act as the final quality gate for our products prior to release to client.  Contribute to testing of other tools/products on an as-needed basis. Job Specific Qualifications & Experience.  Must have a minimum of a BSc in Languages, e-Learning, Quality, Computing, or other related discipline.  While not essential, ISTQB Testing Qualification or similar would also be useful from a functional testing point of view.  Previous experience of content/editorial reviewing or functional testing of online applications would be of benefit.  Previous experience of reviewing clinical content (or an additional clinical/science qualification), while not essential, would be an added advantage.  Previous e-learning/functional testing experience is also beneficial. Knowledge.  Strong grammar/editorial skills.  Tech-savvy, with good working knowledge of various web browsers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Knowledge of revision control systems (Perforce/SubVersion or similar) and bug trackers (e.g., Atlassian JIRA or similar) would also help.
