A new position for a FMCG Production Pricing Manager to be responsible for the detailed pricing of the manufacturing of FMCG goods. You will be. Pivotal in presenting pricing proposal s to senior management and you will be a master of your craft..... You will have done this in a gl obal supply chain & be a s trong negotiator who can build long term int/ext rel'ships. Happy to travel to build supplier rel'ships. Creating & rolling out pricing strategy & tasks via a five-stage sales process. Ensuring successful pricing of products, components etc to meet tender deadlines, ensuring winning contract & the maximum GM. Preparing & present pricing at all stages to challenge thinking & will discuss with key stakeholders e.g. technical, sales. Identify & implement C.I to achieve cost savings & maximise GM for lifetime of contract. Create & maintain a database of tender submission pricing. Use database of pricing to identify improvements & develop actions to implement. Benchmark all pricing elements between different providers creating a library of price s. Identify & agree factories used for the pricing of each opportunity. Work with technical to get product (spec/samples) & send pricing reqs to correct factories. Identify & agree the pricing requirements & understand all pricing queries from factories, providers, negotiating in order to respond/resolve. Bid , q ualifying, Contract Management. Complete pricing, negotiating best possible price with factories, & suppliers involved one week ahead of closing date. Provide pricing info back on the agreed Pricing template & respond to queries in final pricing process. Complete re-negotiation for each newly awarded contract , in line with contract p lan & handover of final price s to Production Control. Re-negotiate pricing on products, components to achieve an increase in GM dealing with any negative impact price changes impacting on GM. Respond to pricing enquiries from sales team within contract . Lead a pricing team; Improving methodology & implementing change. Essential Skills & Experience. BA in Business, Purchasing or equivalent. Exp in pricing , procurement in a senior role in FMCG. Exp. working with factories & suppliers globally with proven negotiation skills suppliers, factories, logistics & all other areas manufacturing. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
