Transport Clerk – Entry Level / Junior. Location: Kinsealy office – will be required to attend Port Office (Ringsend side) as required. **NB: Own transport is essential** Salary: c. €28K + OT. Working within a team of 2 other – 1 in Transport & 1 in Ships Agency. Excellent opportunity for the right person. Duties. Transport function - arranging collections and deliveries for containers, liaising with customers and hauliers. This is the main portion of the role. Training also provided on Ship’s Agency role to provide backup cover (holidays etc). This is looking after husbandry of vessels entering and leaving the port, arranging berths, pilots etc and liaising with vessels. It is a specialist area and would be a real benefit to anyone. It involves being ‘on call’ on an occasional basis. Skills & Experience. Educated to at least Leaving Certificate. Excellent communication skills with ability to work and communicate effectively with a range of people. Flexible “ can do” attitude. Experience and or interest in the transport/shipping/logistics industry a distinct advantage.
