I'm currently recruiting for a Reservation's Coordinator to join a dedicated team in an exclusive and luxury environment. Location: Ballyfin, Co. Laois. Contract : Permanent. Key aspects of the role are: You will be reporting to the Deputy General Manager. You must be a well-organised, self-directed high achiever with the ability to work independently or with a team. Their role will be to support both the Reservations and Front of House teams in the day-to-day service of the guest. You must have experience dealing with requests and questions by telephone and email, ensuring that all guests are made to feel welcome and their expectations exceeded. Responsibilities will include: Dealing with guest queries and requests by telephone & email. Answering phone and emails enquiries for the hotel and restaurant reservations. Deal with enquiries for wedding and events at the property in an efficient and prompt manor in line with our company policies. Communicate with travel advisors worldwide to facilitate the reservations for their clients. To meet, greet and welcome guests on arrival and room where required, according to hotel procedures & policies. To provide guests with an efficient & friendly welcome & departure experience, and to take payment as appropriate. Assist the reservations team in their day to day activities, providing general administrative duties including the compiling of reports & statistics. Providing proactive support to reservations system, ensuring that all guest details are relevant and up to-date. To assist in the training and development of new team members. Demonstrating a commitment to service excellence at all times when on duty. Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an reservation role, where attention to detail has been paramount. Excellent written and verbal communication in addition to strong PC skills, to include Word, Excel & Powerpoint. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential as would a working knowledge of HotSoft. A demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and exemplary standards of service. The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team. Ability to prioritize workload; work to strict deadlines and strong attention to detail.
