We manage & support IT systems for a range of SME's across the Island of Ireland covering aspects such as: Managed Service Contracts and Service Level Agreements. Hardware installations, upgrades and maintenance. Scheduled and emergency Support - On-site & Remote. Networking, Firewalls, VPNS, Network Security. Server Operating Systems, Desktop & PC Operating Systems. Remote Access Soutions. VOIP Phone Systems / PBX. IT Consultancy & Advice. Data Backup & Business Continuity. Cloud Services. Email Solutions. We are seeking a part time Junior Help Desk Support Representative to work in our IT Help Desk office in Portlaoise during the hours of 08.30 to 14.00 - Monday to Friday (incl. 30 mins break per day. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting. Prior training, experience or certification is required. Further training will be provided both "on the job" and through structured training followed by certification. An ideal candidate should: Have a smart appearance, a friendly personality, be very IT literate, a good time keeper and be willing to learn. Show a strong sense of customer service. Have good organisational, communication, interpersonal and administrative skills. Show the ability to develop a trusting relationship with customers and clients. Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Have excellent spoken and written and Technical English. Show strong ability to work as a member of team and on a individual basis.
