Job Title: Head of Human Resources Permanent Dublin 75,000 to 85,000 and benefits. Reporting to: Deputy Chief Executive. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional who will have responsibility for the strategic development and delivery of the day-to-day services of the human resources function aligned to overall business objectives. The successful candidate will lead out on significant change process which is already underway. Key responsibilities include delivering HR solutions and change management initiatives, developing and aligning a HR strategy to support the organisational strategic goals and cultural change; lead performance management, talent acquisition, training and development and effective employee relations. Place of Work: Dublin. Employment: Permanent. Principal Duties: Leading out on the change initiative within the organisation. Developing and implementing the people strategy to support the strategic business plan. Partnering with the business functions to deliver the strategic objectives and culture change as part of its business transformation programme. Delivering best practice HR solutions and acting as an agent for change and continuous improvement in support of internal strategy. Managing the day-to-day operations of the human resources function, providing a diverse human resources service to the organisation. Providing expert advice to managers on all aspects of people management. Ensuring human resources policies and procedures are compliant with employee legislation and reflect best practice. Managing the performance management process and working towards a coaching environment for continuous improvement. Managing employee talent acquisition and retention processes. Managing the HR budget and headcount in line with the business plan. Leading activities in relation to employee engagement surveys. Managing end to end employee relations within the organisation. Providing management information to CEO for Council meetings. Co-ordinating payroll activities for the organization in conjunction with Finance Department. Leading the further development and management of employee compensation and benefits. Identifying learning and development needs and implement a management/employee development programme for existing and new talent. Managing the governance of the HR function including involvement in audits and maintaining risk registers. Overseeing the Health and Safety processes within the organisation. Promoting and exemplifying the organisations values. Qualifications and Experience: Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline with 5 7 years proven at senior HR level essential. Knowledge of HR systems and procedures. Strong communication and influencing skills. Strong organisational and planning skills. CIPD Qualified.
