Events Customer Service Executive. Full Time Temporary 12 month fixed term contract. DUBLIN ZOO holds the prestigious position of being ‘Ireland’s leading Family Attraction’ welcoming in excess of 1.1 million visitors each year. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Customer Service Executive to help plan and execute all Dublin Zoo events. The Events Customer Service Executive will proactively support our Senior Events Executive to promote all areas of event management within Dublin Zoo, in particular the Dublin Zoo Wild Lights Events. A willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends is essential to this position. The successful candidate will be sensitive to the Zoo’s ethos, brand and vision, and its commitment to conservation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Wild Lights administration team & ticketing system as well as providing best practise in customer service for all customer queries and complaints. The successful candidate will also be responsible for planning and executing all events in Dublin Zoo including calendar events, corporate events, conferences, weddings and family occasions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate flexibility, an excellent approach to customer care, exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Must also be able to multitask, work off own initiative and possess the following: The successful candidate will be customer service focused, commercially motivated individual with proven organisational and communication skills. Min 2 year’s experience in a busy ticketing/events/customer service department. Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times. A knowledge and proven track record of running events for different audiences, from the selling, planning and execution to evaluation stages. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to cope well in high pressure situations and to prioritise several initiatives within tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to interact effectively at all levels and with all departments. Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
