I am currently looking for software engineers (Or a very talented grad) from a variety of different disciplines such as; ++, Java, Python who would like the opportunity to join one of the best software houses in Dublin whilst learning from the best engineers in their field. The role is multifaceted, it incorporates OOP ++ and embedded engineering for certain projects also, so it will give you exposure to high and lower level engineering. My client is an Irish-owned company who have been a mainstay in the Irish technical environment and work with the top 20 financial services institutions in the world. So they can boast some genuinely interesting and massive projects that are truly scalable whilst working on the latest and greatest technologies. Moreover, you will be given exposure to a niche domain and truly innovative products. What we are looking for is as follows: A minimum of 6months to 2 years experience, which can include a relevant internship. A solid foundational knowledge of software engineering and computer science principles that transcends all backend languages, such as multi-threading, Concurrency, Networking etc. Have good knowledge of OOP design and development practices and paradigms. Have a good grasp of either of the following: C/++, Java, C# or Python. Have a good foundation in Linux. As mentioned, ++ experience is a "nice to have" but not a deal-breaker. Our technical test is basically language agnostic but candidates must demonstrate that they understand OOP concepts and principles in order to be considered for this role.
