Field Service Engineers (CNC) - nationwide. Our client seeks suitably qualified Field Service Engineers to install and maintain a range of CNC Machine Tools throughout Ireland. The Role: Duties will include fault finding, repair and installation of CNC Equipment. Interested candidates should have a mechanical background ideally, and a good knowledge of electronics. Key Skills & Experience Required: Mechanical / Electrical qualification Level 6,7 or 8. At least 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience with working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience with Okuma, Makino CNC Machine Tools or similar. Preferably will have knowledge of PC / PLC / CNC based controls. IT / CAD literate. Ability to work under own initiative. Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Good technical communication and reporting skills. This is a hands-on role that requires both mechanical and electrical aptitude. Other Requirements: Full clean driving licence. Fluent written and spoken English. Salary will be according to experience, and benefits will include: Company vehicle, phone, laptop, expenses.
