Tax Free Financial Analyst. Location: Saudi Arabia. Salary: €180k DOE. Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team. They are in the process of reinforcing their team in different critical areas, hiring external advisors that will support their senior management on both strategic targets and day-by-day activities. The primary objective of this role is to support the Executive Director Treasury in providing and monitoring information about the company’s financial position (including profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation of financial forecasts, reports, dashboards and operational tracking metrics (for recurring leadership meetings), including Setup of effective and convincing reports, succinctly showing relevant financial information. Data retrieval from data management systems and business units. Continuous update of reports, dashboards and operational tracking metrics. Design of financial models. Continuous monitoring of financial performance against targets and forecasts. Close monitoring of (financial) market trends potentially impacting the company. Support of the (annual) budgeting process. Development and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy for analyses. Monitoring of financial transactions (by reconciling incoming and outgoing data. Close collaboration with other relevant business units (such as Accounting and Audit) to ensure a high accuracy of the reports provided. Key Interactions: Internal: CEO and CFO. EVPs of business units. Senior management across the company (business units and support functions. Finance and Accounting team. External: Financial analysts. Contractors for business intelligence systems. Consultants collaborating with SEC, in particular with finance and strategy business unit. Requirements: Educational Qualifications: Master’s/MBA degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university (finance, accounting, economics or statistics are preferred. CPA, ACCA or similar Accounting Qualification is a must. CFA charter will be a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate finance environment (with an analytic and quantitative focus. Experience in large utilities will be preferred. Preferably with previous exposure to agile ways of working. Big 4 background will be preferred. Behavioural Skills: Affinity for quantitative and analytical tasks. Strategic thinking. Strong leadership traits and ability to effectively influence the audience. Decision making capabilities, result-oriented. Ability to advise and manage teams.
