Due to an increased workload we are currently looking for an architectural technicians (3 to 5 years experience) & an Architectural Technician (1 to 3 years experience) required for a growing architectural office in Bilbao, Spain. We are a group of architectural technicians working alongside numerous UK based architects, interior designers and design and build company's; specialising in high spec residential, hotels and commercial projects. Both roles are studio based, so you will be working on a wide variety for high spec residential & commercial projects varying in size and scale. This is the ideal role for an experienced architectural technician who possesses in depth knowledge of the high spec residential market. Our workload is varied, so we can offer great experience across a wide variety of projects. This would be a good opportunity for anyone looking to move abroad and progress their career within a fast growing practice, while enjoying the cheaper cost of living within Spain and ability to learn a new language. Senior Architectural Technician. Duties will involve checking and providing solutions of technical and construction detailing In evolving tender and construction packages. Helping to look after a small team of architects and technicians. Mid Level Architectural Technician. Duties will involve checking and providing solutions to technical and construction detailing In evolving tender and construction packages. The candidate should have: 3 to 5 years experience. Ability to lead their own smaller projects and work independently as well as part of a team. Strong construction detailing on both new build and refurbishment projects. Enthusiastic, professional and capable of working on fast paced schemes. Proficient in auto cad 2017. High level in photoshop and sketch up an advantage. Good knowledge of Irish & UK building regulations. Spanish an advantage, but not required (all projects are developed in English. Junior Architectural Technician. Duties will involve drafting and providing solutions to technical and construction detailing In evolving tender and construction packages. The candidate should have: Strong construction detailing on both new build and refurbishment projects. Enthusiastic, professional and capable of working on fast paced schemes. Proficient in auto cad 2017 and high level in Revit, photoshop, sketch up & 3D visualisation an advantage. Good knowledge of Irish & UK building regulations. Spanish an advantage, but not required (all projects are developed in English. Fluent in French an advantage. This is a contract position of a minimum of six months with the view to being a permanent on-going contract.
