NEW OPPORTUNITY !! Junior Buyer : Dublin 22. Our Dublin 22 based client is seeking a experience Category Executive to join this fast paced working environment. Responsibilities: Junior Buyer. Review and manage suppliers / ranges in line with market and customer requirement. Identify Core Suppliers and Products/ Sourcing, selection, benchmarking of products and suppliers. Manage new product introduction process and Growth of Exclusive Brands in each category. Product selection for marketing processes and ensure products achieve maximum exposure to customers. Maximise on supplier negotiation, supplier movement and increase the value of product to facilitate the winning of new business. Preparation of Trade Agreements and completion of Trade Agreement process. Identify and deliver cost savings on purchasing new / replacement products. Ensure cost prices is correct & maintained on the ERP system. Liaising with suppliers and Commercial Manager to minimise and manage product price increases. Achieve best terms across product categories, ensuring that the performance of the suppliers is maintained at a high level through trade agreement. Work closely with Commercial team taking responsibility for product coding and alternatives strategy and take ownership of negotiations with major suppliers when required. Requirements for Junior Buyer. Proficient in Excel. Excellent attention to detail. 2- 3 years Previous Category / Purchasing experience Essential. Good Negotiation Skills.
