The Coach House Brasserie is looking to recruit an experienced Brasserie Head Chef to join its management team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, will be responsible for the day to day running of The Coach House kitchen. Candidate Profile: Previous experience as a Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef (ready for next step) in a similar property. Strong culinary and creative background, and keeps up to date on industry trends. Have a genuine passion for food and ability to produce a very high standard of cuisine. An ability to identify areas for improvement in operations, costings and internal development. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Highly motivated, hardworking and flexible as working hours will include weekend. Excellent financial acumen and has a proven track record in achieving excellent GPs. Responsibilities: Hands on proactive attitude. Passionate about consistently producing high quality food. Overseeing the budget and maintaining agreed targets. Ensuring compliance with HACCP / Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards. Ability to effectively manage the Kitchen Team. Previous ordering experience. Stock control and food handling. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years Managerial/Supervisory experience in a 4 star Hotel. They should also have the ability to work well under pressure and should be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills.
