Our client one of the largest companies on the island of Ireland is now looking for an experienced Shipping clerk/admin person to join their expanding team. Job Description. Our client based in Dublin 1. Is currently recruiting for an experienced individual for Shipping Clerk / Admin duties with previous experience in the industry is essential. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES. Data Entry & Invoice processing. Providing our teams across different locations with the most up to date shipping information. Updating our customers daily with current stock available to fulfil their booking requirements. General administrative duties. Dealing with day to day customer enquiries. Liaising with other staff to ensure work is completed by agreed deadlines. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work effectively to deadlines. Can work proactively and independently, but can also take instruction. Ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment. Fluent English – spoken and written with excellent communication skills. Good organisational skills. Strong IT skills – specifically MS Office. Previous experience in the shipping industry is an essential requirement. Hours of work. 08.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Friday.
