Regional Business & Relationship Development Manager – Mid West Region. Our client has a requirement for a Regional Business & Relationship Manager, this role represents a unique opportunity with the support internationally recognised and respected brand to support the continued development of the Mid West Region. Key Responsibilities. To work closely with the business’s global teams overseas and in Ireland to win investments that meet the business’s Regional targets; To energetically lead a team that will successfully build and covert an investment pipeline for the region and also work with clients on the successful implementation of investments in the Region. To proactively engage with businesses global teams, overseas and in Ireland. To prepare, organise and manage site visits to meet the needs of clients in collaboration with operations, property and regional colleagues. To strengthen the relationship with our existing FDI base. To find appropriate and timely solutions to challenges faced by existing clients in the Region. To identify, develop and influence key stakeholder relationships in the Mid-West Region. To make a meaningful contribution to developing and delivering the Government’s new Regional Enterprise Strategy for the Mid-West; To engage with the Corporate Strategy and Policy Group to ensure that Regional policy related requirements are considered in the composition and implementation of Government policy and planning frameworks. To partner with the Corporate/Regional Communications team to build relationships with Regional Media. To ensure that the brand of the business is held in high regard in the Region. To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process. Requirements : Third level qualification and relevant business experience in global business development. Ability to work well under pressure, flexible and independently on own initiative. This role will require domestic travel, flexible working hours and a willingness to work flexibly across Regions on a regular basis; Ongoing flexibility and interest in international career progression and development are required.
