My client, a leading Engineering organisation in Waterford is currently seeking a warm, engaging and dynamic Receptionist to join their busy team. Reasons to apply: Top Engineering Organisation. What you will be doing: Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable and act as the professional point of contact for all visitors. Manage a busy switchboard and direct to the relevant people, taking messages where necessary. Respond to company emails and queries as required. Stamp and distribute incoming post and faxes and manage all outgoing post, including registered post. Provide purchase order requisitions for all courier invoices to enable payment. Complete weekly staff absence reports for HR and credit card report for Finance. Order and program access swipe cards for employees in the Head Office. Maintain a Boardroom/Meeting room booking request log. Assist in the day-to-day administration of the office, including data entry, scanning photocopying and general paperwork as requested. Assist with the booking of travel requirements, including flights, accommodation, car hire, trains, taxis etc. for all employees and clients when required. Assist the HR Manager with HR related projects from time to time. The successful candidate will possess the following: Confident and personable approach with a keen interest in providing excellent customer/client service. Switch board experience. Trustworthiness, discretion and confidentiality essential. Time keeping and attendance, along with excellent attention to detail essential.
