We are recruiting for a Internal Communications Specialist for our client in Co Offaly. This is an exciting Fixed Term Contract for (12-18 months. Reporting to: HR Manager (Energy. The role will be multi location but based primarily in Co Offaly. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of an internal communications strategy and plan for the Energy business ensuring that the strategy is understood, that employees understand their role in delivering that strategy and providing updates on progress executing the strategy. Duties will include: Lead the development of an internal communications strategy and plan to ensure that employees fully understand the business strategy, the part they play in delivering it and the progress the business are making towards achieving it; Define and lead the internal transformation engagement strategy, translating the strategy into key communication strategies and messages being deployed across the Energy business through leader briefing packs, town-hall decks, communications feedback surveys, etc; Create content, in line with agreed messaging, to support the business strategy and company policies for use on internal and external channels of communication; Act as the Communications Lead for the Energy business ensuring aligned messaging, branding, timing, frequency, channels tools and processes; Coordinate and proof read any communication that is issued on behalf of the Business Unit, ensuring that content and tone are correct; Collaborate with the Energy management team to produce briefs, messaging, copy, etc to support their relevant areas. Ensure that these briefs, etc. are created in format and design to the relevant audience; Support the development and drive the implementation of Energy Business Unit employee engagement strategy. Manage a range of employee engagement events and initiatives; Support leaders to ensure effective communication and engagement practices are embedded across the Energy Business Unit; Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Lead the measurement and reporting of engagement and communication effectiveness and introduce new solutions to meet future needs; Collaborate with the External Communications Manager to ensure alignment of internal and external communications. Ensure consistency of approach, message and brand and delivery of consistent corporate messaging; Be an exemplar in demonstrating Leadership Standards and Behaviours for Success; Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives. Skills and Qualification: Honours degree in Business, Communications or related discipline is required; Exceptional attention to detail required and a commitment to delivering high quality output; Demonstrates strong creative skills; Experience writing and editing employee communications; Self-motivated and resilient with the capacity to work under pressure; Career evidence of excellence in Team-Working, Talent Management, Operation Excellence and Lean Principles & Personal Integrity.
